A calorie is simply a unit of energy and this energy is stored in food and drink. When we eat or drink something our body takes the stored energy from whatever we are consuming and stores it in our body to be used. When looking at fat loss, weight gain or weight maintenance then calories are key. This is because of the way we store that energy in our bodies.
As we are all unique we all will have a different recommended daily calorie amount so please choose recipes accordingly.
