Sausage Rolls
Ingredients
- 375g ready to go pull pastry
- 200g turkey mince
- 6 chipolata sausages
- 2 tbsp cranberry sauce
- 50g stuffing mix
- 1 egg, beaten
How to Make It
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celsius and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Roll the pastry out and cut it in half lengthways. Spread the cranberry sauce down the middle of each half and leave a 1cm border each side.
In a bowl, combine the mince and stuffing mix along with 1 tbsp of water, season with salt and pepper. Spoon the mixture over the cranberry sauce and then lay the chipolatas on top across the middle of each pastry.
Brush some of the egg along one edge of each pastry half and fold over to cover the filling. Press and seal so that it makes 2 long sausage rolls. Cut each into 8 pieces and place on the baking tray.
Brush the remaining egg across the top of the rolls and bake for 30 minutes until golden, then serve.
