Braised Fennel and Parmesan Bake


  • 2 fennel bulbs, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tsp grated lemon zest
  • 200ml vegetable stock
  • 60g grated vegetarian parmesan cheese/cheddar cheese
  • Green salad and gluten free bread to serve

    How to Make It

    Pre-heat the oven to 200°C/Gas Mark 6 and grease a casserole dish.

    Spread the fennel across the bottom of the dish.

    Mix the stock, garlic and lemon zest together and pour over fennel.

    Sprinkle the cheese over the fennel and place into the oven. Bake for 20 minutes until the fennel is soft, with a crispy cheese top.

    Serve with a green salad and bread.
