Sausage and Mash
- 8 Good Quality Sausages - Choose Gluten Free if appropriate
- 6 Large Potatoes peeled and cut into small cubes
- 120g Kale (1 Bag)
- 50ml Milk or Milk Alternative
- 1 Bunch of Spring Onions finely sliced
- 1 Leek sliced
- 1 Knob of Butter
How to Make It
Boil the potato and leek for 15 minutes, or until soft. For last 5 minutes of cooking add the kale.
Meanwhile, place the sausages on a grill rack and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until golden on all sides.
When the potato, leek and kale are cooked, mash them then stir in the butter and milk.
Stir the spring onions into the mashed potato and season to taste.
Serve the mash and sausages together.
